Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie has shared his thoughts on marriage and the high rate of divorce.

Taking to his Instagram page, the movie star described marriage as a beautiful thing as he advised singles not to be discouraged by couples divorcing.

He noted how a few tips can help you have a long-lasting marriage but there is no laid down proven formula to it.

According to Yul, you can marry someone you dated for 10 years and the marriage wouldn’t last and you can marry someone you met yesterday and have a long-lasting marriage.

He pointed out that most times the main reason for a marriage crash is not revealed on social media.

“Marriage is a beautiful thing.
Don’t let anybody discourage you. If your dream is to get married, go ahead & achieve your dream. A few tips can help you have a long-lasting marriage but there’s no laid-down proven formula to it. You can marry someone you dated for 10yrs & the marriage won’t last.
You can marry someone you met yesterday and have a long-lasting marriage.

This is coming in wake of actor, Bolanle Ninalowo crashed marriage to his wife of over 18 years, Bunmi Ninalowo.

In a lengthy post on his Instagram page, the movie actor revealed that he has finally accepted the reality of the end of the road.

He noted how the end of his marriage with his wife is a reality that is sad for his loving and adorable children but necessary for a peaceful and lovable future.

Bolanle further noted how he prayed, nurtured, and worked tirelessly hard never to experience such for the sake of all, but now he has to accept it as he realizes that his kids are much grown with a better sense of understanding and knowledge of his pain & struggles regarding them.
