‘You still know custom and tradition’ fans hail BBNaija Star, Omashola as he shaves his hair to pay respect to late dad

Fans of former Big Brother Naija housemate, Omashola, has hailed the reality star on social media after shaving his stylish hair to respect his late dad.

Omashola had a few weeks ago announced his father’s death and came to Nigeria for the funeral rites of his late dad.

As part of measures to honor his father for the last time, the reality star shaved off his hair and beard completely.

In Nigeria and some African countries, going ultimately beard is considered a way of honoring onces parents or loved ones after their demise.

Sharing the video of himself while shaving his hair on his Instagram page, he attached the caption, “I had to do it for dad so he can enjoy his trip to the afterlife.”

Reacting to Omashola’s action, many fans hailed Omoshala for honoring his late father.

Some fans also pointed that irrespective of not residing in Nigerian, Omoshala still knows his root.
