Nigerian Afropop singer Yemi Alade has subtly shaded Wizkid’s aide Godson for dragging her career over the Grammy win of Angelique Kidjo.

Kemi Filani News earlier reported Yemi Alade had taken to her Twitter page to praise Beninese singer Angelique Kidjo’s album, Mother Nature which won over Wizkid’s Made In Lagos album.

Yemi Alade did this to defend those criticizing the Beninese singer for winning over Wizkid.

However, Yemi shut them up as she retweeted a tweet that praised the singer earlier.

“Angelique Kidjo dropped an Album in which the headline song talked about the dangers of climate change-induced disasters (that the west is worried about) and how it will impact Africa more but you are wondering why she won a Grammy for THAT body of work? Stop playing. Please take your time to listen to the album. Listen to “Africa, One of a Kind” and “Mother Nature”. Drip your pangolo expectations before you listen to them so you can enjoy good music”.

Yemi Alade’s retweeting of the tweet had pained Godson, and he took to his Instagram page to trash the singer.

He stated that Yemi Alade could never be able to sell any venue out in 1 minute.

He added that till the singer dies, she wouldn’t make such an achievement.

“Yemi Alade with ur french n francophone sing alike meaningful and soulful music will never be able to sell any venue out in 1min till u die yes till u die”.

Responding, Yemi Alade, in a post shared on Instagram, averred that before anyone argues with a person, they should ask themselves if the other party is mentally mature to grasp the concept of a different perspective.

Yemi Alade added that there is no point arguing with someone whose mental capability does not match her own, and sometimes it’s good to choose violence.

She wrote: Before you argue with someone, ask yourself, is this person mentally mature to grasp the concept of a different perspective? If not there is no point to argue.

Not Every Question deserves an answer …sometimes choose VAWULENCE…respectively
