For Nigerian Afropop singer, songwriter and actress, Yemi Eberechi Alade, she desires nothing more than to be better in communication.
The actress who is turning 33 on March 13th has revealed that she desires to work towards intentionally being better at communicating her feelings.
While others seek for lavish presents and gifts on their birthday, Yemi is seeking for personal growth.
She opined that there is a thin line between an argument and discussion and as a typical Nigerian, it’s easy for her to turn everything into argument rather than discussion.
She disclosed that she strongly wants to undo that and hopes she gets there.
“It’s My Birth Month and I really want to work towards INTENTIONALLY being better at Communicating My Feelings.
There is a thin line between an argument and discussion.
Being a typical Nigerian, it’s easy to turn everything into argument, rather than discussion.
I want to undo that…
Let’s see how that goes…”.
Kemi Filani news recalls in January the ‘Johnny’ singer traded words with a critic.
Yemi Alade slammed a Twitter user who criticized her, saying she no longer makes good music.
In a Twitter post on Monday, the ‘Johnny’ crooner warned detractors against making negative comments.
Responding to the Tweet, a user who goes by the name @Bluemagik wrote: “After Johnny by her, I can’t seem to wrap my head on any other song she made.
Responding, Yemi replied saying, “Then you are not a fan, so move on.”
The user who seemed unrelenting in provoking the songstress replied, “Sharrap and make good music.”
Infuriated by his comment, Yemi wrote: “You are very stupid, your power is behind your phone abi? No try me this year, you hide behind your phones and computers. Say it with your real face and full chest. We go meet outside.
