Nigerian Afro-pop ruler, Tiwa Savage has joined her voice in denouncing the ongoing xenophobic assaults on foreigners in South Africa.
Recall there have been series of hullabaloo following the break out on Sunday of another round of Xenophobic assaults on foreigners, including Nigerians living in South Africa.
In her response to the unfortunate incident, Tiwa Savage has reported her choice to drop her scheduled performance at the upcoming DSTV delicious festival in Johannesburg on the 21st of September.
She likewise sympathized with the people in question and groups of each one of those influenced by the assaults.
She composed on Twitter:
“I refuse to watch the barbaric butchering of my people in SA. This is SICK. For this reason I will NOT be performing at the upcoming DSTV delicious Festival in Johannesburg on the 21st of September. My prayers are with all the victims and families affected by this.”
