A beautiful six-year-old girl identified as Dorothy Nana Ofeiwaa Adjei, has donated approximately N16k to help acquire school desks for pupils in Yikurugu who lie on their stomachs to study.
The pupil of the Christ the King School in Accra, was deeply touched about the plight of pupils of Yikurugu D/A Primary in the Upper East lying on their ground to study because of the lack of tables and chairs and decided to change the story.
Dorothy, who had watched the emotional report which prompted her move, was accompanied by her mother, to the Premises of GHone TV on Wednesday, March 7 to make the donation.
According to her mother, Dorothy kept that money to get herself other things but changed her mind upon watching the news report
It was gathered that though her mother suggested the money to be sent via Mobile Money, Dorothy insisted she sent it to the station in person.
Upon being interviewed She has since received appraisals online for her humanitarian service, which reads:
