“Address me as ‘sir or daddy” Wizkid sends message to his colleagues

Award-winning music star, Ayodeji Balogun better known as Wizkid has sent a message to his colleagues in the industry.

Taking to his Snapchat account, Wizkid told them to start addressing him as sir or daddy.

Bragging, Wizkid stated that he can stop touching the mic and yet, no one would be able to touch his wealth.

In what seems like a shade to Davido, he added that even if they ask their dad or mum for help, it wouldn’t amount to his wealth.

Wizkid promised to open a class for artists to come learn how to get all they deserve with less work and smart business choices.

Wizkid’s message to his colleagues

“I can stop touching the mic today and y’all lil niggas still can’t touch the wealth! Even if u ask ur dad and mom for ur help.

Also soon, I’ll open a class for u niggas to come learn how to get all you deserve with less work and smart business choices.

Moving forward!! Y’all address me as Sir or daddy before you mention my name! Ok babies!

On his Instagram story, he wrote,

“Everybody’s daddy!
Goodmorning my kids”.

Wizkid records huge milestone

The Grammy winner, who continues to record new milestones in his music career, broke a new record.

The singer became the First African artiste to have his album certified RIAA Gold.

According to Chart Data, Wizkid’s song, Made in Lagos’ is the first African album to be certified RIAA Gold.

Wizkid beats three-time Grammy award-winning singer, Angelique Kidjo, Burna Boy, Diamond Platnumz, Davido, and other African artists to achieve this new feat.

The Chart read,

“@wizkidayo’s ‘Made In Lagos’ is the first African album to be certified RIAA Gold”.

Akon praises Wizkid

American singer, Akon had praised Nigerian singers, Wizkid, Davido and Burna Boy for taking Afrobeats globally.

In an interview with famous American Radio host, Sway, Akon spoke about how the three giants are changing Nigerian music.

The singer described Wizkid as a Superstar and a born star.

For him, Wizkid was the poster child of Afrobeat and he is the biggest name in the industry.

He added that Wizkid was one of those guys that put up one record a year and the record last a whole year.

“Wizkid is probably the poster child of Afrobeat and he is the biggest name”.

He added, “Wizkid is just a superstar, he is one of those guys that put up one record a year and the record last a whole year. He is a born star without a doubt”.

On Davido, he described him as the workaholic. For him, Davido is an underdog that fought hard to be where he is, though he had the support of his wealthy family.

“Davido is the hardest working. He was the underdog but what he has as support was his wealthy family, so he was able to come out every week with a new song and new video. He got more song than any Afrobeat artiste”.

Lastly, speaking about African giant, Burna Boy, Akon described him as the beast.

He said, “Burna Boy us a beast, he’s representing the culture on a level it needs to be represented on”.
