Grammy award winning singer, Wizkid has announced the release of a new album.
The “Made In Lagos” singer took to his Instagram story to announce the good news to his fans and family.
This would be his fifth studio album as he last released album in 2020, which was the ‘Made In Lagos’ album.
His fourth studio album was released on 30 October 2020 by Starboy Entertainment and RCA Records. The album featured guest appearances from Burna Boy, Skepta, H.E.R., Ella Mai, Tay Iwar, Projexx, Tems, Damian Marley, and Terri. The deluxe edition was released on 27 August 2021. It featured additional guest appearances from Buju and Justin Bieber. In support of the album, Wizkid embarked on the Made in Lagos Tour (2021–2022). The album received a nomination at the 64th Annual Grammy Awards for Best Global Music Album.
The singer wrote, “New music soon come and loads of it summer about to be crazy”.
He added, “New album title”.
Kemi Filani news recalls Wizkid had allegedly received a million dollars to headline Rolling Loud festival in Miami.
The singer would headline the festival alongside American artistes like Future, Dave and others.
Buj who disclosed the news wrote, “Rolling Loud gave Wizzy $1M Omo”.
His fans have gone ecstactic over the good news as they seize the opportunity to shade Davido and Burna Boy.
