Nollywood actor, Williams Uchemba has confirmed the death of Davido’s son, Ifeanyi Adeleke.

The comic actor, who is devastated over the painful news called for prayers on the singer and his girlfriend, Chioma.

The father of one revealed how he said to himself, he wouldn’t believe anything on social media until he confirms.

Williams Uchemba, who confirmed the news of Ifeanyi’s death, stated that he has been upset, pained and confused.

He pointed out how no one deserves to feel such pain.

“I said won’t believe anything on SM until I personally I prayed for it to be a lie. I am upset, pained and confused. Nobody deserves to feel this pain.

Please say a prayer for David, Chioma and the entire family. Nobody deserves this kind of pain. Rest up little one”.

Ifeanyi is dead

Davido and his fiancée Chioma Rowland had lost their child, Ifeanyi Adeleke.

Ifeanyi Adeleke died on Monday, October 31.

According to information, Ifeanyi Adeleke got drowned a few days after his third birthday which was on October 20.

A source close to the family stated; “The boy was inside water for too long and they pulled him out and rushed him to the hospital,” the family source said under anonymity to await an official statement.

He was rushed Evercare Hospital in Lekki where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

It was further gathered his parents, Davido and Chioma had traveled for a family gathering to Ibadan yesterday and had left Ifeanyi with his minders who can’t explain how he entered the pool without being noticed and drowned.

Ifeanyi’s last moment

Prior to Ifeanyi’s death, Davido was spotted teaching him how to swim.

In videos which made the rounds on social media, the Electricity crooner was seen inside the big pool in his mansion with Ifeanyi.

Davido carried the three-year-old boy and made him flap his legs in the water as he gave him instructions on what to do.

The music star carried Ifeanyi around in the pool as the energetic boy continued to flap his legs.

Davido who was obviously impressed by his son’s performance was heard commenting on how he was a fast learner.

He said: “This one go learn quick”.

Before his rather sad and shocking death, Ifeanyi’s parents; Chioma and Davido had celebrated his third birthday in grand style.
