It seems like the once enviable friendship between Afrobeats singer, Davido and talent manager, Ubi Franklin has come to an abrupt end.
Kemi Filani reports that the singer, who is still grieving the loss of his son, has unfollowed more people in Instagram.
Kemi Filani did a check and noticed that Ubi Franklin has been kicked off Davido’s following list.
The singer, at the time of reporting is currently following 1,748 and Ubi Franklin isn’t among.
This is coming just few days after, Ubi Franklin got his first tattoo in honor of Ifeanyi Adeleke
The music executive took to his Instagram stories to share a picture of the tattoo with Ifeanyi Adeleke’s nickname ‘Popsicles’, and a dove bird which signifies ‘Rest in Peace’. Sharing it, he indicated Ifeanyi’s death date.
Social media as expected is having a field day reacting to the shocking news.
While others mocked Ubi Franklin, others blamed his tattooing of Ifeanyi as the cause of their supposed rift.

Ubi Franklin isn’t the only one from Davido’s friend list that has been cut off.
Davido unfollows Eniola Badmus
Kemi Filani reported in December that Davido had stirred the internet as he unfollowed his longtime bestfriend, Eniola Badmus.
The singer and Eniola Badmus have been best of friends for years prior to his son’s death in October.
Kemi Filani did a check on Davido’s Instagram page and noticed that he had unfollowed people. Further investigation showed that the Davido had clicked the unfollow button on Eniola Badmus.
However, Eniola Badmus didn’t reciprocate as she is still following the singer.
To add to it, his elder sister, Sharon Adeleke had also cut ties with Eniola.
Also, Davido had unfollowed DJ Cuppy and Femi Otedola, after they celebrated his 60th birthday on water.
