What languages will our kids speak? Inter-tribal couple Solomon Buchi and Arike melt hearts in adorable video
In the video, Solomon shows off his beautiful makeup free wife while teasingly questioning her on her fluency in Yoruba language.
Relationship coach and writer Solomon Buchi took to his instsgram page to post a sickly sweet video of him and wife having a conversation about language and kids.
It is a notorious fact that Solomon Buchi and his wife Arike are both from different tribes with Solomon being from the Igbo tribe and Arike being from the Yoruba Tribe. In the video, Solomon shows off his beautiful makeup free wife while teasingly questioning her on her fluency in Yoruba language.
He also asked her if she thought he was a good Igbo speaker to which she confirmed. He went on to disagree with her a little on being a great Yoruba speaker seeing as she had grown up in the Uk most of her life.
“For somebody who has lived in the Uk for most of my life, my Yoruba is very good” Arike poutingly responded.
He mentioned his worry that kids mostly pick up words and language through listening to their parent interact in but since they had different native language and mostly spoke in English, it would be difficult.

Solomon Buchi Slams Social Media User who implied he cried on his wedding day because of “japa ticket”
Right after his wedding day videos and pictures has gone viral, a social media user suggested that Solomon Buchi was only getting emotional because he was ecstatic over the idea of leaving the country.
He wrote: “Make we hear word abeg, you only cried because your Japa ticket is confirmed. Congratulations the most smartest dude in Nigeria”.
Reacting to this narrative, Solomon responded that the problem of most Nigerians is their poverty mentality.
