“Welcome back to life.”

Kemi Filani reported that the rumor mill had been in overdrive weeks ago when close associates of Oladips claimed he had died after being rushed to the hospital. This news had sent shockwaves across the internet, with fans and celebrities alike expressing grief and condolences. The mourning was particularly poignant given its occurrence shortly after the tragic death of Mubad, another notable figure.

However, skepticism had lingered among some netizens due to the peculiar circumstances of the announcement and its resemblance to Mubad’s demise. After two years of doubts and whispers, the truth has emerged. Oladips’ friends disclosed that the entire episode was a strategic move to boost his music streams. Indeed, following the announcement of his ‘death’, Oladips’ album was released and quickly soared to the top of the Apple Music charts.

For a long time, Oladips remained silent on the matter, neither confirming nor denying the rumors. But now, breaking his silence, he admits on Instagram that his supposed death was a publicity stunt. This admission has elicited mixed reactions online. While some are relieved and overjoyed to learn he is alive, others are critical of the artist, condemning the use of a fake death narrative as a promotional tool. They argue that such tactics could undermine his credibility and the seriousness with which fans perceive him.

The unfolding of these events will undoubtedly be a topic of much discussion in the coming days.
