‘We waited for hours just to confirm that it is not true’ – Chinedu Ikedieze AKA Efe Johnson breaks down as he mourns Ada Ameh

Chinedu Ikedieze, MFR , a Nigerian actor, entrepreneur and serial investor who is best known for playing alongside late actress Ada Ameh in award winning family comedy series, The Johnsons has joined the rest of the industry to mourn his onscreen mother.

Ameh (Emuakpo Johnson) played mother of Ikedieze (Efetobere Johnson) on the aforementioned TV series.

Expressing his deep shock over the loss, the Abia State born veteran actor revealed how they were told to wait longer to physically confirm that indeed Ada Ameh is gone before making further announcements.”

 It was really hard to post this as we, the cast & crew of  @OfficialTheJohnsonsfamily and Native Media tv had waited under advisement from Ada’s manager to secure a physical confirmation from warri. Sadly 😢, he did comfirm our fears.

We are broken-hearted 😭😭 as we painfully affirm the passing of our dear sister, friend, colleague, screen mum and Matriarch of The Johnsons clan, Ada Obande Ameh (aka Emuakpor Johnson).

To all our teeming fans around the world, we have truly lost a rare and vibrant gem, but celebrate the life of an icon who daily put smiles on every face and spread love in every home. Kemi Filani news had earlier reported that Ada Ameh slumped and died in Delta State after she had gone for an event.
