Nigerian singer, Iyanya made headlines in September 2021 when he reconciled with Ubi Franklin, his business partner after five years.
In an interview with Hip TV, Iyanya noted that though the duo have had their ups and downs, but he still celebrates Ubi.
According to him: “I will celebrate Ubi, we have had our ups and downs.Now that we are back together working .It’s a blessing to see that we have grown past all that happened”.
On the role Kcee played in his career, the ‘Your waist’ crooner said Kcee housed him the first time he came to Lagos.
“Kcee is my big brother, the first time I came to Lagos for this music thing it was Kcee who brought me over.Kcee showed me mad love”.

Asked about the acceptance of RnB genre in Nigeria, the soft spoken singer said the RnB scene in Nigeria is evolving.
“It’s growing, it’s evolving. Shout out to people like Banky W , Chuddy K, Dare Art Alade this people made it possible for people like me to still rep RnB.I am thankful for the growth and I believe that it will get better.Music has changed everyone should evolve with the sound.I listen to everybody. I am a big fan of everybody.I want to achieve more, that’s the drive for me”.
