Video Director TG Omori stirs reactions as he reveals plan to switch career

Nigerian music & video director, ThankGod Omori Jesam better known as TG Omori has made a shocking revelation about his career switch.

The notable video director announced on his Twitter page, where he mentioned that at the end of his music directing phase, he would be switching careers.

He disclosed that his plan to change to a controversial career is to give his enemies something to talk about. TG Omori, who appended a laughing emoji, could be jesting in his post. The only option left is to wait for the transition.

He wrote: After this music video phase, I’m gonna retire and become a porn star so y’all can watch me give a fvck.

Fans have however reacted to his post.

Burna Boy inspired me to stand out – Cinematographer, TG Omori

TG Omori hailed Afrobeats star, Damini Ogulu better known as Burna Boy.

Omori who also doubles as a cinematographer, and filmmaker took to his Twitter page to pen a short note about Burna Boy.

According to the 27-year-old, Burna Boy has been an inspiration to him. He also noted that Burna fondly referred to as ‘African giant’ inspired him to stand out from being a regular director.

He wrote, “Burna boy is so so inspiring can’t even lie. Brother literally inspired me to standout from being an everyday Director to possessing so much star power unknowingly”.

Kemi Filani news recalls that TG Omori trended on Twitter after he revealed he doesn’t charge anything below N8 million.

The music director has shot music videos for recording artists across various genres of new generation which includes, Olamide, Wizkid, Burna Boy, Tekno, Kizz Daniel, Fireboy DML, Naira Marley, Timaya and many others.

With a lot of artists to his name, it’s not surprising that he charges above N8 million.

TG Omori made this known while reacting to a blog’s claims that he charges N8 million to shoot a music video.

Shutting the report down, TG Omori made it known that it was last year, 2021 he charged 8 million

This implies that the sought-after music director is currently charging above N8 million.
