Nollywood actress, Victoria Inyama has spilled more on her marital ordeal with her ex-husband and father of her kids, Godwin Okrim.
In an interview with Chude Jideonwo, she recounted how her ex-husband would always beat her anytime Manchester United loses a match.
According to her, she still deals with the trauma to date as she not only hates the club, but anytime she watches them lose a match, she remembers the beaten she used to suffer at the hands of her ex. She added that even her son is aware of the trauma she went through and they would laugh over it.
“I hate Man Utd, ehn. The number of beatings wey dem beat me because Man UTD lose match ehn.
Even up to today when there is a football match and Man U loses, I am like Thank God, today would have been a beating day. Even my son knows and would be laughing.
Elsewhere in the interview, Victoria recounted how he always brought his girlfriends to their matrimonial home to torment her and how he still threatened to either kill her or put her in jail.
Victoria alleged that her ex physically, mentally, and psychologically abused her and at times, she always questioned what she did wrong to make her end up with him. According to her, she was in a state of shock when her husband first beat her because she couldn’t believe it.
Despite all she went through, Victoria stated that she doesn’t regret abandoning her acting career for her marriage because of the three kids they had.
This isn’t the first time, the actress has bared it all about her marital drama. In 2020, she recounted the horrific experience she went through in an Instagram chat.
She narrated how he humiliated her and maltreated her and how he once threatened to kill her if she failed to do his bidding.
She recounted how he fed their son with food he was allergic, dislocated the arms of their daughter, and issued her arrest in the presence of their kids.
Following her break from the movie scene, last year, Victoria Inyama made a huge comeback with the premiere of her movie.
