According to Nollywood actress, Uche Elendu it is quite sad that the social media space has been filled with all kinds of immoralities, especially the sale of different aphrodisiacs and Kayamata, all in order to keep a man.

Elendu, a divorced mother of two, expressed her thoughts via her Instagram page where she wrote on how best not to try keeping a man.

Her message reads, “If you are hoping to get to a man’s heart through sex, then what you’ll end up with is a ‘sex buddy’. Not a partner, not a boyfriend, not a husband. You’ll also end up with a broken heart because you’ll get so attached to him and he won’t want anything ‘real’ with you. Sex is simply overrated these days, there’s more to a relationship.”

She added, “Just saying shaa cos someone cant surf social media these days without sex this… sex that!!  Don’t get me wrong, I am not a virgin, but I bring and encourage more valuable and interesting stuff to the table as a woman. Women are powerful”

In an earlier interview, Uche Elendu lamented on how she has been coping as a single mum of two, especially at the peak of COVID-19 lockdown in 2020.

She said, “It is not very easy not being married and not having a man. But I have kids, who keep me company the whole of my time. I interact with them, take care of them and teach them. As an entrepreneur, I am also about my business; making research and relating with my client.”
“Personally, I feel the need to be in the company of a man in rare occasions. I don’t really feel bad because I am single, I know I would be in the right relationship when the time comes.”
