Toyosi Effiong, the wife of Nollywood actor, Etim Effiong has revealed why she was scared of the union between Kunle Remi and Tiwi.
In a lengthy post on her Instagram page, Toyosi revealed that she has known Tiwi even longer than she has known her husband. As such, she was scared when Tiwi told her about Kunle Remi because she knows firsthand his kind.
She explained further by saying the attention and affection for Kunle Remi, who is quite attractive made her skeptical, especially knowing that being a wife to such an actor isn’t for the faint-hearted.
But over time, after having several conversations and observations about him, the fear has subsided and now she is extremely happy for the couple.
“This couple is special to me. Tiwi has been my aburo for much longer than I’ve known Daniel and when she told me about Kunle, I can’t lie, my heart did “GBISH GBISH” because I know FIRSTAND about the… uniqueness of this kind of union.
The attention and affection that this fine-boy, hand-rubbing, chest-showing, sunglasses-wearing, lip-licking “screen gods” receive is not for faint-hearted spouses and that’s where the fear stemmed from.
But over time, following multiple conversations and observations of their interactions, the fear has subsided and now I’m just happy at how happy and intentional they are and how beautiful the ceremonies looked in the pictures and videos!
I love you guys so much @kunleremiofficial and I speak GOD’s covering over both of you”.
Unfortunately, her statement wasn’t well received by many as they mercilessly dragged her.
Kemi Filani reported On Friday, January 19th that Kunle and Tiwi held their traditional wedding in Lagos which had lots of celebrities in attendance.
Kemi Filani shared the first photos and videos from their traditional wedding, which had Toyin Abraham, Mofe Duncan, Deyemi Okanlawon, and Bimbo Ademoye all dressed in white Agbadas.
Despite his busy schedule, the groom had taken time out to send a message to his wife, questioning if his wife was ready to dance.
The couple held their white wedding a day later, which had lots of celebrities in attendance.
Recall that on New Year’s Day, the light-skinned actor broke the internet when he revealed to the world that he had officially tied the knot with his heartthrob, and shared photos of himself and his wife whom he engaged and married in 2023, accompanied by a message to his fans.
The actor further revealed that there was no proposal video while replying to a Twitter user. He stated that though he went down on his knee, which was for the culture, there was no one to record the sweet moment as it was spontaneity, and even his wife, didn’t believe him.
Tiwi issued a warning to Nigerian ladies, crushing on her boo, as she prayed for God to bless them with theirs.
