Tony Elumelu finally reveals the woman behind his entrepreneurial success and skills

Nigerian economist and entrepreneur Tony Elumelu has taken to social media to celebrate his 93 years old mother as he reminisces on his childhood experiences.

In the birthday post shared on his Instagram page, Tony Elumelu attributed his success and entrepreneurial skills to his mother.

According to the economist, his mother singlehandedly ran several businesses at the same time while raising him and his siblings and also give them beautiful childhood memories.

Tony Elumelu further appreciates his mother for teaching him hard work, enterprise, resilience, respect for others, and empathy.

He wrote: This is 93! Happy birthday to the first entrepreneur I ever knew, the super matriarch of our family, the most doting grandmother, and the foundation of everything my siblings and I have done. I celebrate you not only today, but now and always, Mama. I look back in awe at the days when you singlehandedly ran several small businesses all at the same time, while raising us lovingly and giving my brothers, sisters, and I the most beautiful childhood memories. Thank you for teaching us hard work, enterprise, and resilience, but most of all, kindness, respect for others, and empathy.
