Tonto Dikeh slams gospel artistes over Mohbad

Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh has slammed gospel artistes for keeping silent over the death of singer, Mohbad.

The movie star, who has been a strong advocate for the late singer, while replying to a fan who had noted how no one from the gospel music paid attention to his death as they did for the late Osinachi, stated that she doesn’t care them as they don’t care about Mohbad.

The mother of one, however, prayed that they don’t die cause she noted how they would be tagged as wicked from their reactions.

Tonto revealed that she knows some clergymen who have been supportive and have called to pray for the movement for Mohbad. But, gospel musicians have turned a blind eye to his death, but she wouldn’t reply them till one of their own dies.

In her caption, Tonto further noted how 99.9% of them are worst sinners, adulterous beings with angelic voices.

“I am waiting for the scapegoat…

I don’t even care about the circular musicians cause na PAP Dey body but these prayers warriors I don’t understand…
It’s how 99.9% of you all are worst sinners, adulterous beings with angelic voices

Ready to reciprocate the unfollow as your pastors will ask you to do in 1,2,3……

Thank you to my papa for your continuous prayers and spiritual support”.

Taking to her comment section, many concurred with her as they noted the hypocrisy in the music industry.

One Hor Moore wrote, “Their silence is disheartening

One Blessed Mikky wrote, “Mercy and co left the group

One Opeyemi Adebisi wrote, “All of them don’t understand what Christianity is all about. You singing gospel doesn’t make you holier or sinless than Mohbad or circular musicians.

One Sheddu Of Lagos wrote, “They all kept quiet and mute and I ask, what’s the essence of life if we can’t be of help to others? From Mercy Chinwo to Judy Jay to Chidinma to the likes of them are all quiet on this Mohbad’s case or are they waiting on the Holy Spirit to tell them?

One I Am King’s Voice wrote, “I just be honest, there is more wickedness and selfishness in gospel music. I’m a gospel artist, I know what I’m saying”.

Just a few days back, Tonto Dikeh had slammed popular clergyman, Pastor Tunde Bakare.

The clergyman while preaching at a church event, revealed how Mohbad had reaped the reward of his actions while alive, noting how his stage name ‘Mohbad’ and bad company had greatly affected him.

In response to his remarks, Tonto Dikeh pointed out how the clergyman never addresses the unholy activities of his colleagues but is quick to speak on Mohbad’s death.

Tonto stated that it’s the anointing of God upon his head that has refrained her from going off at him, as she admonished him to keep the same energy with his corrupt colleagues.

The movie star had also slammed former presidential media aide, Reno Omokri over his tell-all interview with Naira Marley.

Tonto raised 10 questions for Reno Omokri as she avowed that the interview was well-planned between the two.
