Media personality, Toke Makinwa, took to micro-blogging platform, Twitter to reveal that she is still scared of her mother.
The 37-year-old in her tweet revealed what ninety-five percent of an African children can attest to.
African parents are typically disciplined and well-cultured. They don’t spare the rod and spoil the child when it comes to bringing up their children in the manner they deem fit.

“You are never too old to fear your African mother, tell me why in my 37 years of age, my mother shows up to my house unannounced and I’m spraying everywhere cos I had guests over and some smoked some pot. if she catches a whiff of it, I may not be alive to gist you all o.
“You’ll be paying your own bills and be in your big age but the fear of your parents is still real”.
Replying to her tweet, a follower said
“The fear of African mother’s is the beginning of all wisdom. Ask her why she show up unannounced and you’ll get the funniest reply ever while she’s looking so stern”.
Toke Makinwa remembers her late sister
