“I can’t wait, I know it’s in the cards for me and will happen soon” Toke Makinwa speaks on her desire to become a mother

Media personality, Toke Makinwa is quite eager to become a mother and believes her time is near.

The TV personality, while celebrating Mother’s Day on Sunday, revealed that she can’t wait to become a mother and she knows it’s in the cards for her and it would happen soon.

She revealed how becoming a godmother has made her want to become a mother so badly. According to her, her niece has stolen her heart as her smile lights up her entire world and has made her a better person. She stated that she never knew it was possible to love another human the way she loves her goddaughter.

Expressing her love for her niece, she added that till she becomes a mother, she will continue to celebrate Mother’s Day as her godmother.

Recall that, Toke Makinwa was once married to fitness expert, Maje Ayinde but the marriage never produced any child. Just like many celebrity marriages, her marriage hit the rocks after two years as she and her husband split in 2016 on the grounds of adultery.

Opening up on her failed marriage, she noted how she was blamed for her marriage failure even though her ex-husband fathered a child with another woman.

She said people had different versions of what they thought her marriage was, which left her traumatized as she was the victim.

Despite her divorce, Toke Makinwa is open to remarrying as she revealed while celebrating her 35th birthday that she was ready to give marriage a second chance.

In a post shared on her Instagram page, the media personality declared that it would be her last year as a single lady, as she boldly expressed that she was finally ready to give love and marriage a second chance.

In a post years back, Toke had expressed how lucky her husband’s kids are to have her.

The media personality and actress took to social media to brag about how God created her.

Toke talked about her future husband and kids and how they will ‘enjoy’ their lives because of how she was created.
