Podcast host, Toke Makinwa has penned an appreciation noted to her fans and colleagues for their love and concern following her traumatic robbery experience.
Kemi Filani News reported that Makinwa took to social media to reveal that she was robbed off her valuables in London.
The actress had attended the white wedding of her colleague, Rita Dominic and her husband, Fidelis Anosike at Selby Abbey, North Yorkshire, England, on Saturday, 26th November 2022.
However, three days later, she fell prey of robbers in one of the world’s oldest city.

Hours after experiencing a sad event that left her speechless, Makinwa took to her Instagram story to appreciate everyone who showed her love.
The OAP thanked her creator that no physical harm was done to her. She noted that it’s not how she planned to start t he new month however, the incident will hopefully make sense someday.
She wrote: Thank you so much for all your calls and messages, probably the most traumatic experience I’ve had and watxhibg the cctv of how I was robbed is devastating but thank God no physical harm was done.
Material things, however steep can and always will be replaced, thankful that that’s all they took. It’s not how I wanted to begin December but life is lived forward and understood backwards. It’ll make sense someday

Makinwa who turned 38th recently took to her Instagram stories to reveal one of the things she has learnt in life.
According to her, a person will figure out who to keep close and who to put at a distance, however, one will go wrong a couple of times before knowing what’s best
She wrote: “Eventually, you will figure out who to keep close and who to put at a distance. Unfortunately, it takes you being wrong a couple times to really learn what’s best for you.”.
