‘Today makes it 11 years you left this wicked world’ – Soso Soberekon remembers MC Loph

Nigerian music producer and talent manager, Soso Soberekon has remembered the death of his colleague in the entertainment industry, MC Loph who passed on 11 years ago in a ghastly road accident.

Taking to his Instagram page, Soberekon who was once KC Limpopo’s manager posted a photo of the late musician and captioned it, “Today makes it 11 years you left this wicked world. Keep resting in power MC LOPH.”

Nwaozo Obiajulu popularly known as MC Loph together with his sister Chinwe died in a tragic car accident along the often neglected Benin-Ore Expressway while en route to his home town on September 14 for his traditional wedding.

After his death, the Nigeria’s entertainment industry was thrown into mourning of the young, vibrant musician cum Disc jockey. His fiancée Nkiru,  a medical practitioner, who survived the accident that claimed the life of the popular DJ later gave birth to a bouncing baby boy.

He made his mark in the entertainment industry with a remix of popular highlife hit track, Osondi-Owendi, originally recorded by Osita Osadebe.

Born in Anambra State, graduated from the university of Nigeria Nsukka and was the only son from a family of four.
