Gospel singer Tim Godfrey has been issued a query by one of his fans for feeding his new American wife a native food; Amala and Ewedu.
Kemi Filani reports that Tim Godfrey had shared a romantic video comprising of loved up moments of himself and his wife and in one of the moments, he fed her Amala and Ewedu, and alas, a fan decided to attack him for it.
The fan, Abraham wrote “My brother you left egwusi soup, uha soup, vegetable soup, afan soup, Nsala soup , you carry irritating Ewedu soup dey give your wife? Things no dey irritates you? give me 1 million dollars Ewedu soup I can’t go close to eat people dey eat shall your wife almost vomited”
While Tim Godfrey chose to turn a deaf ear to the remark, some of his other followers took it upon themselves to respond to the query.
One Manny responded saying “Can you please respect people’s native food? I am Yoruba but I never discriminate Igbo soups, in fact I love them”
While one Funmi Oladele said, “That is not a nice to say about food that people eat….”

Kemi Filani recalls that Tim Godfrey and his woman, Erica Katrina, an American, got married on April 24, 2022 in the presence of their loved ones and friends.
Interestingly, three of his top female lead singers; Ibeekay, Blessing and Rejoice who recently quit his band following his engagement to Erica Katrina, were noticeably absent at the occasion.
The ladies especially Blessing and Ibeekay have been part of his group for almost 10 years now if not more (while Rejoice joined about five years ago) and they are known for leading his major songs.
As a matter of fact in 2017, he gave them all brand new cars to celebrate them for sticking with him through the years.
Only for things to fall apart after Tim Godfrey announced his engagement to Erica in February 2022.
While congratulatory messages flew in from all quarters, it was found that his three closest and major female leads completely shunned the post.
