Nigerians have reacted to the viral video of one of Ooni’s wives, Queen Ashley, dancing at the just concluded Olojo festival in Ife, Osun State.
A video making rounds online captured Queen Ashley dancing heartily at the Olojo festival, while many joined her on stage.
The vibrant Queen was the centre of attention at the Olojo festival after party, which had the Iyalaje Oodua, Princess Toyin Kolade, and Ooni’s sister, Princess Adesola Ogunwusi, to mention but a few.
Many who reacted to the video taunted the new Queen for wanting to claim the spotlight at any given opportunity.
Actress Bimbo Akisanya wrote, “Our very beautiful olori Ashley🥰🥰”
One Folashade wrote, “Queen no fit you at all. NAOMI is d best.”
“What she has always wanted😁,” one Atinuke wrote.
Only Naija responded, “@atinuke_akintayo it’s a shame she can’t see beyond her wanting to be Olori, But Oba never introduced her to the world she will remain, acquaintance, honestly I feel for her,…. she’s feeling the gap again totally waste of time.”
Kemi Filani recalls that there was jubilation in Ife when Ooni finally wed his new wife, Mariam Anako, who is a descendant of Ebira in Kogi state.
Ooni’s sister, Princess Adesola, congratulated her brother on his wedding by sharing photos of the event online. She warmly welcomed her brother’s new wife.
She wrote: Congratulations to baami Oonirisa and the entire Ogunwusi’s dynasty. Olori Mariam Ogunwusi, you are welcome to our family.
