‘This is a rude shock’ – Iyabo Ojo breaks down in tears as she mourns Sound Sultan

Actress, Iyabo Ojo has broken down in tears following the shocking death of sensational singer, Olanrewaju Fasasi, popularly known as Sound Sultan.

Recall that during the early hours of Sunday, the 11th of July, 2021, Sound Sultan was reported dead after battling Angioimmunoblastic T- Cell Lymphoma for months.

According to reports, the 44-year-old died in the United States of America.

Taking to her official Instagram page to react to this sad news, Iyabo said Sound Sultan’s death came as a rude shock to her and he left too soon.

Recounting on how they met, the mother of two said that Sound Sultan walked up to her during one of the Headies Award nights and he told her how much she made him laugh with her TikTok videos.

In her words;

“When I thought today was all about making people smile then I get this rude shocking news… Sound Sultan, the first time we spoke face to face was @ the Headies, can never forget how you walked up to me & told me how much my TikTok Videos made you laugh I felt so humbled and happy that day ….. I will forever cherish that day & all your amazing works … Another 44 gone too soon.. RiP LEGEND”
