They have disappointed me again – Rapper Vic O calls out Headies for not giving him an award

Vic O, a Nigerian rapper, has expressed his annoyance at The Headies Awards organisers for not nominating him for any of the categories during the recently concluded awards ceremony, despite his contributions to the music industry.

He lamented on how being noticed for an award in Nigeria demands you to be related to someone prominent.

‘I have got to be honest with everybody right now I have got to be honest with myself, I am so upset with the Headies right now, the Headies award did not even recognise me this time, they didn’t even give me anything this year, everything in Nigeria is politics, i have been dropping hits back to back…it is very wrong”, he lamented. ‘I’m a superstar mehn…. A big dawg.’ He captioned the post.
