Netizens reply to Ebuka’s tweet
Netizens who replied to Ebuka’s tweet noted that the world indeed owes nature.
@Helsinki_: I think we owe nature,we developed ourselves way beyond our primary goal as humans (survival=food, procreation), luxury, comfort, sophisticated technology etc we would do just fine without all of that but we forced nature to give rise to them, up to this point where is takes near magic effort to give rise to new developments. So now nature wants to take back from us by it’s own choice of means. It could be war, another pandemic, inflation, food shortages etc. This satisfies the fact the entropy/disorder of the universe is always increasing. We’ve had things in order for a very long time despite all our carelessness and mismanagement of resources. In order for a very long time despite all our carelessness and mismanagement of resources.
@the_doyinsola: I always ask myself this, like can’t we just print enough monies all over the world?!
@lawgic: The bank created debt that doesn’t exist by asking everyone who loans money to pay back with interest meanwhile the amount of currency in circulation is constant. Since you can’t print extra to pay the interest, a debt vacuum is automatically created. So the world owes the bank.
@peterobiyoungerbrother: The world is just a victim of the monetary system which it created by itself. If we had just kept exchanging things by barter, without attaching some ‘value’ system, a lot would have been different and better today.
Olumuyiwa Adelaja: The matter just tire me, is like we are owning aliens from Mars o, because the last time I checked almost all countries of the world are owning, even the richest men on the planet are owning too.
Igwe Sandra: You see this particular question ehn, I have been asking since cos me I think why we are just stressing ourselves. UK is experiencing inflation, they don’t have money, nobody has money kuku dash every country and let’s rest and nobody should bring the inflation theory here biko!
Deelor:
Every1 renders service upfront, & simultaneously, 2020 consumption froze.
Imagine also workg 30 days but coys can’t pay; sellers sell/buy oncredit till can’t survive & producers run out of stock; no funds 2keep producg, factory workers& raw material producers get owed…!
Ozemoya: Very good question. Although, if Nigeria is taken as a case study for most nations, we been spending more than we’ve been making for sure
