    Singer Tems gets dragged for being ‘insensitive’ over her headpiece at the 2023 Oscars

    International sensation, Temilade Openiyi better known as Tems is currently trending on all social media platforms over her outfit to 2023 Oscars.

    Kemi Filani reported that the 95th Annual Acadia awards held in Sunday night, March 12, 2023 at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles, US.

    Tems, who was one of the attendees of the night rocked the red carpet wearing a white dress and matching headpiece.

    The 27-years-old was nominated for the Best Original song courtesy of her collaboration with American singer Rihanna and others on ‘Lift Me Up’.

    Though they didn’t win, Tems was the centre of attention in her Lever Couture SS23. The beautiful dress had a huge head piece that has gotten many talking online.

    Social media users tagged her insensitive for rocking such headpiece as they reckon it would block the view of people sitting behind.

    Tems loses her Oscars nomination

    Kemi Filani reported that Tems had lost he Friday Oscars nomination.

    The ‘Essence’ singer was nominated for ‘Best Original Song’, for her feature in “Lift me Up” from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.

    Unfortunately, the fast rising singer lost the award to “NAATU NAATU” from the hit Telugu-language film RRR.

    NAATU NAATU made history by becoming the first Indian film song to win an Oscar.

    Despite the lose, Tems can always comfort herself with the Grammys, which she won on February 5th for her collaboration on American rapper, Future ‘Wait’ song.
