Nigerian singer, Tekno Miles has shut down report that his colleague, Kizz Daniel paid him close to N1 billion for a feature.
A publication had shared an excerpt from his alleged interview where Tekno spilled on his relationship with Kizz Daniel. He revealed that he got on Kizz Daniel’s Buga with no sort of legal agreement and wasn’t expecting anything from him. He stated that he wanted to be silent about this but he thinks some levels of gratitude deserve to be spoken of.
He claimed that Kizz Daniel sent him 50% of every revenue he generated from that song and after his Biga tour, he sent him close to a Billion Naira, which left him shocked. To add to it, he received millions as his own shares of the revenue generated by Buga on streaming platforms.
He ended the alleged interview by describing Kizz Daniel as a great guy.
“I got on Kizz Daniel’s Buga with no sort of legal agreement. I wasn’t expecting anything from him. Wanted to be silent about this but I think some levels of gratitude deserve to be spoken of. Do y’all know Kizz Daniel sends me 50% of every revenue he generates from that song? After his buga tour, he sent me close to a Billion Naira and I was already shocked enough by that move. He didn’t end up just there. Every month I receive millions as my own share of the revenue generated by Buga on streaming platforms… Kizz is a great guy I can’t lie”.
Reacting to it, Tekno made it known that he never got paid N1 billion for a feature. He further questioned how he could be paid such an amount of money when Kizz isn’t even worth a billion.
“Him money no reach. Anybody wey put out that fake interview, thunder fire your mama”.
Sometimes back, Tekno had thrown a subtle shade at his colleague, Dammy Krane over his fight with Davido.
Via his Instagram page, Tekno shared a photo of himself living his best life with a shady caption, opining that it is only one who is broke that screams on the internet over money.
In 2022, Davido credited Tekno for transforming his life and he vowed to forever remain grateful to him for giving him a hit song.
His revelation left Twitter personality, Daniel Regha criticizing Tekno for writing songs for Davido, especially one of his hit songs, “IF”. He stated that writing songs for the singer limits his growth as he admonished Davido to normalize penning his lyrics and writing from the heart because originality is everything.
