The Theatre Arts and Motions Pictures Practitioners in Nigeria (TAMPAN) is set to honor veteran, Charles Olumo better known as Baba Agbako.

Kemi Filani reported that the Yoruba actor turned 100 and had many Nollywood celebrating him.

To celebrate his milestone age, TAMPAN is set to celebrate the veteran on Thursday, 20th of July, at the Excellent Event Centre, Mosan, Abeokuta.

The news was made known on the association’s official Instagram page.

In celebration of his day, many Nollywood stars, fans, and lovers had taken to social media to send their birthday wishes.

Taking the lead, Biola Bayo prayed for renewed strength for him.

Biola sought advice from her fans and followers if funds should be raised for him as a birthday gift.

“Baba Charles Olumo is 100 years today! God be praised. Happy birthday to you sir, may God renew your strength and bless all your seeds in Jesus’ name. Should we raise a birthday gift for him? Should I go ahead and ask for his account details? 100 years of God’s grace. We love and celebrate you, Grandpa. Happy one Century Baba mi”.

Muyiwa Ademola makes urgent demand from GWR as Charles Olumo Agbako clocks 100

Following suit, Muyiwa Ademola had made an urgent demand of the Guinness World Records to issue a certificate to Agbako.

Muyiwa Ademola shared a video on his Instagram page to celebrate the thespian.

He urged the Guinness World Records to award Charles Olumo Agbako as the oldest and most agile Nigerian film actor.

“Unarguably , Baba should be the oldest and most agile Nigerian film actor at 100 years!
@guinnessworldrecords , we are expecting your certificate, no need to write you ahead. What a special grace.
Happy Birthday Once Again Charly Agbako. Your heart is filled with raw gold. Wishing you joy and good health sir.”

Biola Bayo, others surprise Charles Olumo with cash gift on his 100th birthday

Biola Bayo and lovers of the beloved veteran Yoruba actor had surprised him on his birthday.

Taking to her Instagram page, Biola Bayo revealed that she had sent her widow’s mite to the veteran.

Biola Bayo urged her fans to do the same and celebrate him while he is still alive.

“I have sent my widow’s mite to tap into the grace of long life.

It’s time to celebrate Baba, my people. I just got his account details, please let make him happy today….”.

Joining her, popular clergyman, Pastor Gabriel had gifted the veteran N100,000. Fans and lovers of the actor also donated N180,000 as a gift to him.
