Nollywood actor, Sylvester Madu has finally broken silence following a viral video of him selling in a public market.
Kemi Filani reported that the legendary actor had caused a stir online as he had been spotted selling at a market in Enugu.
A video that made rounds on the internet captured the actor selling Okrika at a market in Enugu.
The video which had gone viral has created a stir online with many applauding him for having a side hustle to support his movie career, while others mocked him.
Reacting to the negative reactions, Sylvester Madu took to his Instagram Live to show off his business empire which ranges from shoes to laptops and more.
Slamming his critics, he noted how he was hustling to pay his bills, while they are hating on him.
He added that rather than for them to appreciate his hustle they are writing rubbish about him.
“They don dey craze bad market don catch them. That thing that they think is news, let me make it news by myself. Very foolish people, person dey do his hustle instead of you to appreciate am, u are writing rubbish”.

Sometime in 2021, Sylvester Madu recounted how he borrowed money to buy a Blackberry phone.
He made this known while admonishing Nigerians, especially the youths, to clean their hands.
Sylvester shared his Blackberry experience in a lengthy social media post and narrated how he borrowed to join the trend.
He revealed that the mobile phone he borrowed money to purchase was lying helplessly and uselessly in one of his wardrobes because it was of no importance again.
Highlighting the importance of his message, Sylvester Madu said advice against placing importance on things that are not worth dying for.
