In what may seem like subtle shade, Nigerian music executive turned blogger Ubi Franklin has said Nollywood actress Mercy Aigbe, Tonto Dikeh and others single mothers should stop insulting their ex-husband and baby daddies.
This follows the social media brouhaha of Mercy Aigbe and her estranged husband, Lanre Gentry, over their Father’s Day Instagram post.
Also, Tonto Dikeh had earlier appreciated a blogger who said her ex-husband Olakunle Churchill is the mud after she earned the ‘No 1 Dad’ badge from her son’s school in celebration of father’s day.
In a post shared on Instagram, Reacting, Ubi Franklin said that father’s day is meant for women to be abusing their ex-husband or baby daddies.
According to Ubi Franklin, if the woman cannot wish her ex-husband a happy father’s day, the day should be allowed to pass without any social media drama.
Giving an instance of himself, the music executive said he’s at peace with all her baby mamas except one who always likes to drag him at her will.
Ubi added that life is beautiful and constantly calling out one’s ex on social media defeats the learning curves of experience.
He wrote: Father’s day is not for women to be abusing their ex-husband or baby daddies. If you cannot wish him a happy father’s day, just let the day pass in peace. I’m at peace with all the mothers of my kids except one, she drags me at will, lol
But life is beautiful, I believe time will only reveal and heal. Constantly calling out ex’s on social media defeats the learning curve experience. Do have a great week. I come in peace.
