Actress Stella Damasus’s husband, Daniel Ademinokan has taken to Twitter to complain about the bad breathe and body odour of some actors on film set.
Issuing an advice to actors who suffer such, Daniel Ademinokan tweeted:
“Dear Actors, when you’re coming on a film set, PLEASE ensure that you SMELL GOOD. Use a very good cologne, use some gum or ‘Tic-Tacs’ so everything smells good. We don’t wanna be confined in a little filming space & have to deal with your nasty breath & body odour. #JustSaying”.
Daniel Ademinokan added:
“Bro, had a nasty experience yesterday with an actor that got me “Shook”!!! As per Crew, depends on which kinda crew you’re working with and in my opinion, it starts from the head. My crew members look fresh daily cos they know being ‘crappy’ will never fly with me as a director”.
A director and TV producer, Tope Oshin responded:
“I hear you. An actor once begged me that she couldn’t kiss a particular actor in a scene I was directing. She ordinarily doesn’t mind kissing scenes, but her co-actor on the day had terrible mouth odor and she just couldn’t deal”.
A Twitter user volunteered to give a list of other people whom he feels Daniel Ademinokan’s could also be directed at:
“This message is not for Actors actually. Let me list it for you
-Grip boys
-gaffers
-sweaty towel carrying DPs
-equipment guys
-driversEtc. Thank You“
He responded:
“You can give the message to whoever. Whoever the needle points to, adhere. Y’all just consider other folks when you know you MAY be in tight spaces with no air. Abi?”
