It is been two years since Nollywood actress, Stella Damasus lost her beloved mother and she is marking her 2nd remembrance.
Taking to her Instagram page to share a video collage of her late mother, she noted how it has been two years since her mother passed away. Stella described her late mother as her best friend, mentor, teacher, hero, gist partner, and prayer warrior.
She revealed that she can’t still process the pain and can’t understand how she is not here. Stella expressed how heartbroken she is as she can’t hear her mother’s voice or see her again.
“Mummy
My bestie, my mentor, my teacher, my hero, my gist partner, and my prayer warrior. It’s been two whole years without you. I still can’t process this pain. I still can’t understand how you are not here. I can’t hear your voice or see you. Wow! It is well. Continue to rest mummy”.
Early this month, Stella marked the 19th year remembrance of her late husband and father of her daughters, Jaiye Kuti.
She called him several sweet names, revealing that her heart stopped when she lost him but it had to start beating again for the same of their daughters. She admitted that she still misses but is strong just like he taught her.
Calling him her lifetime lover and angel, she promised never to forget him, while adding that it doesn’t get any easier with each passing year, but she holds on to the promise that they will meet again.
Following the death of Aboderin, Stella got married to her colleague’s husband, Daniel Ademinokan but their marriage didn’t last long as they parted ways in 2020.
Ademinokan was said to have walked out of their marriage and relocated to another state in the United States of America, where the couple lived.
Opening up on their divorce, the mother of two stated that she thought the man she married was her soulmate, had a similar mindset, and could do everything together, but alas, she was served breakfast.
Stella advised ladies to pay attention to red flags and avoid rushing into marriage.
