Nigerian singer John Njeng-Ngeng aka Skales, has released a CCTV footage of operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) storming his home at around 3am today.
Kemi Filani had reported that Skales took to social media on Tuesday morning to claim that EFCC officials raided his house with guns and hammers.
But the agency denied that they carried out the raid.
In a bid to proof his case, Skales has now posted a CCTV clip of the incident on social media.
In the short video, several men can be seen with guns walking into the house.
Skales wrote: “Imagine this people pulling up like this to a room where my 6month old and my daughter and her were sleeping.”
Recall that EFCC spokesman, Dele Oyewale, insisted that officials of the anti-graft agency do not operate in such a manner.
Oyewale said, “Number 1, we don’t invade. Number 2, we don’t conduct any raids. Number 3, there are ways and rules to identify a regular EFCC operative.
“So, to all intents and purposes, all of his claims, they are totally removed from what an EFCC operation looks like.”
He also noted that the incident might be an allegation, as the invaders could be impersonators of the EFCC roaming around.
