Singer Davido blows hot as INEC officials refuse to do the needful to his uncle

Nigerian international fame David Adeleke also known as Davido has expressed displeasure over the actions of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, as they are yet to issue his uncle, Ademola Adeleke, his certificate of office.

Kemi Filani reported that there was wild jubilation in Osun state when Ademola Adeleke of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, was declared the winner of the just concluded gubernatorial elections.

Davido was among those who stormed the streets of Osun to celebrate the victory of his uncle unusually.

A new update that is making rounds on social media alleged that the electoral body, INEC is yet to issue a certificate to Ademola Adeleke as the governor-elect of the state.

Taking to the microblogging platform, Twitter, Davido mocked INEC for not sending the certificate on time, and he strictly warned them not to tamper with the will of Osun citizens.

He tweeted: 48hrs after our @AAdeleke_01 victory at the Osun Gubernatorial elections, we are yet to receive our certificate.
@inecnigeria should we send you fuel money? LOL
Please no one should tamper with the will of the Osun People!
Issue the certificate as required by Law!

Kemi Filani recalls that Davido warmed his way into the heart of his fans when he gifted his uncle, Ademola Adeleke, a 90 million naira Rolex wristwatch in celebration of his position as the governor-elect of Osun State.

An online video captured Davido’s moment with his uncle, father and some of his family and friends while he gifted Ademola Adeleke the wristwatch.

Davido was captured in the video saying the watch was a new gift for the new governor.

Netizens who reacted to the video were in awe of Davido’s loving spirit. In addition, many commended him for giving his uncle an expensive gift.
