Singer BurnaBoy has won ‘Best African Act’ at the MTV EMAS 2022.
The MTV Europe Music Awards (originally named MTV European Music Awards, commonly abbreviated as MTV EMA) are awards presented by Paramount International Networks to honor artists and music in pop culture.
Reacting, Burnaboy who was not at the event to receive the award was excited about it and appreciated the organizers for honoring him.

Burna Boy involved in car accident
Recall that early this year, Burna Boy crashed his Ferrari in a fatal accident.
News broke out in February, 2022 that the singer was involved in an accident.
According to the viral reports, the Grammy singer had crashed his Ferrari.
Confirming the incident, the ‘Twice As Tall’ crooner noted, in his Instagram story, that he was fine though his legs hurt a little.
He wrote,
“Yes it’s true. I had a bad accident in my Ferrari today. My leg just hurts a little but I’m fine,”
He, however, stated that he found it funny that people were recording him instead of trying to help.
Giving a second thought to it, he opined that the onlookers were probably too excited to see him, hence, the negligence.
Regardless of the accident, he asserted that he still loves his fans.
Burna Boy said,
“It’s just funny how everyone came out with phones recording me instead of trying to help (I guess they were too excited to see me regardless of the situation) but I love you all. Gambo got me.”
To put his fans and lovers at ease, he shared a short video on his Insta story and wrote, “Just for confirmation. This is my face”.

Months back, Burna Boy had shown off his new luxury accessories, a Richard Mille watch.
The singer acquired the wristwatch from a famous European jeweller.

The singer who was quite elated at his new acquisition dared anyone who has the same watch to prove it.
He vowed to get another one if someone else possessed it.
The Grammy winner disclosed that the watch was his third purchase as he has an 11 Rose Gold, Romain Grosjean and the F1 Lotus”.
