Singer Burnaboy stumbles over his words at an award show, calls for assistance (video)

Nigerian singer Burnaboy was set to present an award for the British Fashion Council, but he encountered a few hitches while he was at it.

Burnaboy was meant to read from a teleprompter, and at first, everything was going on well. However, as he got into the second line of the prompt, Burnaboy squinted his eyes, and tumbled over his words.

The singer swiftly asked U.K rapper Stormzy to come up and help him read the prompt, and he did so in a playful manner.

While Stormzy was on stage reading the prompt, Burnaboy placed his hand at the back of the rapper’s shoulder, while he squinted his eyes in confusion at the teleprompter.

It was clear from the video that Burnaboy was finding it difficult to understand the words written on the teleprompter. Also, there’s a possibility that he couldn’t see clearly because he kept squinting his eyes, which happened to be swollen.

Burnaboy mat not have been able to read the prompt properly at the award show, but his talents as a singer remains undisputed.

Managed by his own mother, Burnaboy has risen up over the years, as one of Nigeria’s best acts, both nationwide and globally.

Burnaboy may not be in the good books of everyone because of his random online fights, but he still remains one of the biggest names in Nigeria.

A Grammy award to his name has also helped to solidify that fact, and many other milestones that the singer has achieved throughout his career.

Burnaboy’s career takes precedence over any other thing in his life in the public eye. However, there are some glitches, in which the public is able to peep into his personal life.

One of such glitches is his on and off girlfriend Steff London. Burnaboy and the U.K rapper have been together for a while, with public spats and reconciliations that are tricky to keep up with.
