Media personality Shade Ladipo has dragged Nigerians for overlooking singer, Mi Abaga’s late marriage.

Kemi Filani news reported that the singer said ‘I do’ to his woman, Eniola Mafe days back.

The rapper had announced their engagement in April with a video that shed light on how he met his fiancee and how they had proceeded into a relationship.

Via the video, Mi Ababa further revealed that Audu Maikori introduced them to each other.

The talented rapper revealed that he would be getting married to the love of his life Eniola Mafe, in 2022 with a heartwarming video with the caption that read:
“So.. Wanted to share that I’ve gotten engaged to @EniolaMafe I’m generally very private with things like this but I wanted to share my joy with you guys. Pray for us… we will need it! Thank you for your support!”.

The couple eventually tied the knot as they held their traditional marriage on Thursday, September 22nd.

The photos and videos of the wedding which made rounds on social media showed the rapper looking dapper with his Yoruba-wedding attire and coral beads. MI Abaga was all smile as he posed for the gram.

As expected, celebrities stormed his wedding to show support to him as he ties the knot.

Spotted at the event were Banky W, Ik Osadiouwa, Basket Mouth and more.

However, his wedding didn’t receive much publicity and motivational quotes unlike Rita Dominic and Mercy Chinwo.

Recall that when the Dominic and Mercy Chinwo got married, they were the trending topic on the internet because of their age. Many used them as references, examples, points of prayers and even motivational quotes.

This wasn’t the same for MI Abaga who got married at the age of 41.

Faulting Nigerians, Shade Ladipo pointed out their hypocrisy.

“MI Abaga got married at 41 and not one meguire to aspire to perspire about his age… If na Kemi Adetiba or my Rita D it would have been a different story”.
