‘Run oh’ – Destiny Etiko warns women suffering domestic violence after losing her close friend

Nollywood actress, Destiny Etiko has urged any woman who is going through domestic abuse at home to flee from the marriage.

The movie star made this known via her Instagram page where she further revealed that she just lost a close friend to a violent, drunk partner.

“If it’s not working my sister run oh! Because if anything happens to you now, you will be replaced sharperly. No man is worth killing yourself for.  Lost a dear friend because of one useless drunk. RIP B

Destiny Etiko’s message is coming after Popular Lagos businessman, Ikechukwu Ogbonna, also known as IVD was  arrested in connection with the death of his wife, Bimbo.

The couple made headlines last week when Bimbo and her husband got into a scuffle and she reportedly set herself ablaze in the process at their home in Lekki, Lagos.

She was rushed to the hospital while her husband who sustained minor injuries allegedly absconded.

Bimbo was in the Intensive Care Unit of a Lagos hospital for some days but unfortunately gave up the ghost on Saturday morning.

Gist making the rounds online alleged that Bimbo has been suffering domestic violence from her husband for 22 years of their marriage.
