Rita Dominic now engaged and set to wed Fidelis Anosike (photos)

Veteran Nollywood actress, Rita Dominic, is the happiest woman at the moment following her engagement to Fidelis Anosike, publisher of Daily Times.

Kemi Filani exclusively reports that the couple is already planning a big wedding for sometime next year!

Already there is a lot of jubilation on Instagram following the Imo State born movie star, Rita Dominic’s unveiling of Fidelis Anosike in loved up photos on her Instagram page moments ago, indicating that she’s taken and enjoying the happily ever after.


She captioned the images she shared, “Merry Christmas”, lacing it with love smileys.


It would be recalled that Rita Dominic’s marriage plans failed months after it was speculated that she was walking down the aisle in 2019.
Speaking during an interview with TVC over the failed marriage issue, Dominic said she was about to get married but it ended up not working out between her and her supposed spouse.


She also said that she was happy the marriage did not work out.
According to her, rather than bowing to societal pressure, she will marry the “man of her dreams” but in her own time.

“I will marry the man of my dreams and not the man society dreams for me. I almost married someone.
“We were there. We were at that point.
“It didn’t work out and I’m happy it didn’t work out because I saw the signs,” she said.

Earlier this year, the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Folio Communications Limited, Fidelis Anosike announced his resignation from the Company’s board. 

Anosike who made the revelation in a statement on Sunday (June 7, 2020) also unveiled the new board members for the company.

He said Folio Communications Limited is a conglomerate he founded at a young age of 24 after graduating from the University of Benin, where he studied Creative Arts.


Other companies under the conglomerate are: Folio Nigeria powered by CNN, the Daily Times Nigeria, Miss Nigeria, 1st October, Times Multimedia and Creative Africa Xchange (CAX).


Sharing his personal life on how he lost his father who was a junior police officer with the Nigerian Police Force at a young age, Anosike further advised young people to be hardworking, resilient and believe that nothing can stop them from achieving their goals.
