Former Presidential aide Reno Omokri has slammed veteran Nollywood actress Omotola Jalade-Ekinde over her comment on the Lekki Massacre, which occurred on 20th October 2020.
Kemi Filani News earlier reported that in the wake of the incident in October 2020, Omotola, in a post shared on her page, urged that victims’ families should speak up, and if there were no death recorded, people should stop the sensationalisation of the Lekki shooting.
Omotola, who seemed to be doubting the Lekki massacre, questioned why peaceful protesters would be shot at and who perpetrated the act.
Reacting after the Lagos State of Inquiry confirmed that the Lekki Massacre happened with the list of people killed and missing after the shooting, Reno Omokiri, in the post shared on his Instagram page, described actress Omotola as a useless celebrity for denying that the Lekki Massacre never occurred.
Reno Omokri added that Omotola is shameless and does not know how to promote anything that does not involve sex but dancing on the graves of courageous youth who sacrificed their lives during EndSars.
The former presidential aide further commended celebrities like Falz, Mr Macaroni, DJ Switch and others who had continued to speak the truth about the incident.
He wrote: Nigerians must never forget the useless yeyebrities, who used their so called sexiness and celebrity to deny that the #LekkiMassacre ever occurred. Their actions must have consequences, or it will keep reoccurring. God bless @falzthebahdguy, @mrmacaroni1 and @djswitch_,who stayed true.
While some Omoshameless character, who does not know how to use her celebrity to promote any thing that does not involve sex, was dancing on the graves of those courageous youths who sacrificed their lives during #EndSARS so that her children can have a better Nigeria!
