Seemingly arrogant star rapper,Remy Ma has been on a low-carb diet and insanely working out.
The voluptuous “Wake Me Up” rapper has been working for months on getting in shape and is doing it all naturally. No surgery here.
According to Remy,
“Well, first I did a juicing thing and cleansed everything, and then I stopped eating meat,” she told Wendy Williams. “I only do like seafood here and there. Mostly just fruits and vegetables and water, water, water. It’s a lot, but when you go outside and then, everyone says, ‘Oh my God, Remy looks so good.’ I’m like, ‘You know what? I really don’t need that soda. It’s OK. I didn’t want it anyway.’”
It’s not like Remy was a fattie, but the weight loss looks great on her, and it wasn’t too drastic either. Many of her fans have noticed that the “All The Way Up” star is significantly smaller, but they appear to be loving her new frame too.
The Love and Hip Hop star has been branching out. Not only has she been delivering hit after hit, back in December she and hubby Papoose were given their own VH1 special, Remy & Papoose: A Merry Mackie Holiday. She also opened up a clothing store in North Carolina named “Conceited” after her 2005 single. Remy can regularly be seen modeling items from the store on her Instagram page.

Meanwhile, It appears Remy Ma’s younger sister is facing some serious legal trouble soon. According to a report by Bossip, Remeesha Blount, Remy Ma’s sister, was arrested at an apartment complex in North Carolina Monday (Feb. 19) after allegedly shooting a woman and firing into a vehicle full of three more women.
The shootout reportedly occurred last Friday in the parking lot of the End Zone sports bar in Raleigh, North Carolina. According to the News & Observer, the shooting victim was hit by a car as the three other women fled the scene in chaos. The unnamed victim is receiving treatment at Raleigh’s WakeMed Hospital where she is reportedly listed in fair condition.
A magistrate reportedly ordered Blount be held without bail based on a decision that she either would be unlikely to keep a court date or would be a danger to the community if she was freed. In addition, she also has pending charges from earlier arrests that include assault with a deadly weapon, shooting a gun inside city limits and assault by pointing a gun. So it’s clear she has a previous history with gun issues.
Blount currently faces multiple counts of assault with a deadly weapon with the intent to kill, as well as shooting at an occupied vehicle, and discharging a firearm in the city. Her next scheduled court date is March 3rd. We’ll keep you posted on this developing story moving forward.
