Nollywood actress, Remi Surutu, took to Instagram to wish her daughter Ayomikum a posthumous birthday. Ayomikum passed away last year after loosing her battle with sickle cell anaemia.
Remi Surutu wrote;
Time heals they say;
Yet, I am still blown away
By the goodbye you didn’t say.
Surely someday
We shall meet again,
To never part away.
In life and beyond,
I celebrate our bond. You would have been a year older today…but indeed wishes are not horses.

Recall that one year after the death of her daughter Ayomikun, actress Remi Surutu remembered her with an emotional message which she shared on social media.
She wrote…
‘I miss you today. I will miss you for the rest of my life my life has never been the same since you left. I try to put up strength for me and your sister but it so hard to believe you gone. you have a very large space in my heart I keep looking at your picture everyday thinking and wondering how you left without a goodbye I love you so much Ayomikun Oladayo and your sister loves you so much too we all miss you rest on beloved …..1year just like that’.
