Rare video of Wizkid’s mother surface online as she shows off her elegant dance moves at her daughter’s party

A rare video of award-winning Nigerian international singer, Ayodeji Balogun, known as Wizkid or Machala, has surfaced online.

The video captured Wizkid’s mother elegantly showing off her dance moves at her daughter, Omolara Osunkoya’s lavish birthday party held in Lagos state.

The colourful 40th birthday party of Wizkid’s elder sister had high profiled Nigerians and celebrities in attendance.

Kemi Filani recalls that Wizkid’s manager, Sunday Are, penned a sweet birthday message to celebrate the singer’s mother in July.

Sunday Are, who described Wizkid’s mother as his, claimed she had always prayed and supported him through everything.

Sunday Are wrote: “Happy birthday mummy Wizkid who is also like a mother to me. I know it is no exaggeration when I say this that you are like a mother to me. Thank you for your continuous prayer and support. Thank you for raising a super star. You deserve all the happiness you are getting because you worked for it, you will live long enough to enjoy the good fruit of your labour to the fullest, God bless you ma, happy birthday mummy Ibrahim Ayo Deji Balogun, you are a sweet mother @wizkidayo”.

Kemi Filani in May reported that Wizkid and Jada Pollock were expecting their second child, the singer’s fourth child.

Wizkid, who already had two sons from his previous relationship with Shola Ogudugu and Binta Diamond, shared a photo of a pregnant Jada Pollock on his Instagram story.

Although the award-winning singer did not show off his partner’s baby bump, the bump was obvious to his ‘eagle-eyed’ fans, who noticed the protruding belly.

KFN also recalls that Jada Pollock reacted to the norm of constantly being called the Wizkid’s babymama.

She wrote: One day, the narrative will change. I’m hopeful I often wonder if I was a man if I would still be titled this way? Always no one cares we just keep working.
