Big Brother Naija’s former housemate, Queen Mercy Atang has legally tied the knot to the love of her life, David.
The couple, who were in Akwa Ibom days back for her wedding introduction, are currently holding their court wedding at the Federal Marriage Registry, Lagos.
In photos posted on her husband’s Instagram story, the couple were seen holding their wedding certificate as they posed for the camera. Queen and her husband coordinated in a black and white outfit. Her husband wore black trousers, a white shirt, and a white jacket, while Queen wore a black jumpsuit with a black jacket.
Captioning the photos, he officially announced that they were legally married. He wrote, “Legally married”.
Hours before their court wedding, Queen had made a promise to her husband, David Oyekanmi, as she shared loved-up photos of her and her husband twinning in white. While Queen wore a white dress, her husband wore white and blue jeans.
Captioning the photos, Queen stated that her husband is the one she wants to love for the rest of her life.
A day back, Queen had applauded her husband for fighting for their love.
The reality star, speaking in the background in a video posted to her Instagram page, expressed gratitude to her husband for choosing her as his wife to walk this part with her. She praised him for fighting for their love, which he eventually won and now he has made her his wife. She declared that with him on their side, they shall grow old together as she expressed love for him.
In another post, she noted how her man has made her his number one priority and how she is adding up without even eating because of the excess joy and peace she has found in him.
Back in February, Queen announced her engagement to Kemi Filani reported two weeks back that the reality star had announced her engagement, with a photo of her flaunting her engagement ring while holding the hands of her fiance.
In a later post on her Instagram page, the reality star revealed that her man proposed to her with a diamond ring because she meant the world to him.
Three weeks later, the couple held their wedding introduction in Queen’s hometown in Akwa Ibom. Following the introduction, Queen gushed out over the fact that her husband had paid her bride price in full.
She further disclosed that he had also paid even extra. Her brother had also taken to her comment section to affirm her statement as he revealed that he had been paid till his belly was full.
In another post, Queen officially changed her name as she shared gorgeous photos and videos of herself and her boo in the ceremony and she revealed that going forward, she should now be addressed as Mrs Queen Oyekanmi Adedeji.
Before their wedding, Queen had met with her in-laws. First, she met with her mother-in-law, and her fiance shared the heart-melting clip on his Instagram story, where Queen was seen smiling as she met his mother, who hugged her tightly. Days later, Queen met her father-in-law, as she was captured in a video posted by a close friend of the couple, exchanging pleasantries with him.
