The prince of British royal family, Harry and his wife Meghan have announced the birth of their second child.
According to reports, the Lilibet “Lili” Diana Mountbatten-Windsor was born on Friday 4th of June at about 11.40 am in a hospital in Santa Barbara, California and she weighs 7 lbs 11 oz.
The little one who happens to be the Queens 11th great-grand child was named after Prince Harry’s late mum, Diana.
The statement released by the family to announce the birth of the newborn reads;
“On June 4, we were blessed with the arrival of our daughter, Lili. She is more than we could have ever imagined, and we remain grateful for the love and prayers we’ve felt from across the globe. Thank you for your continued kindness and support during this very special time for our family.”
KFN recalls that Harry and Meghan married in May 2018 in a ceremony at Windsor Castle and welcomed their first child, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, a year later.
Three years into the marriage, the couples decided to relocate from England to United States of America.
According to Megan in an interview with Oprah Winfrey, the practice of racism within the palace and a lack of support from the royal family over mental health issues and media intrusion made them relocate.
