Nigerian signer Portable has made headlines after going on a live video on Instagram where he called out record labels. His target this time around was new singer, Shalipopi.
During the live session, Portable revealed that record labels were increasingly signing lacking talent. He even went as far as labeling some of the signees as thieves, unmistakably directing his critique towards the up and coming musician Shalipopi.
He also urged record labels to channel their resources towards signing genuinely talented individuals, rather than those involved in cyber fraud.
“Dem don dey sign thief. Dem dey sign person wey just come from EFCC
Efcc dey carry legit man? When you’re legit EFCC cannot touch you
Dem don dey sign thief. Dey no gree sign people wey get talent again.
“Omo e dey pain ooo. Make una use una money dey sign better peoole. No be people wey dey use bitcoin dey promote music.”
Portable exposes actor, Lege Miami for disgracing his lover, Queen Dami in an interview
Hours earlier, Kemi Filani reported that Nigerian controversial singer, Portable, had shown his doting affection for his latest girlfriend, Queen Dami, by stepping up to her defense against actor Lege Miami.
In an interview with media personality Nedu on his podcast, the actor, Lege Miami had taken the liberty to tarnish the reputation of the estranged wife of the late Alaafin.
He openly labeled her as desperate, claiming that the Oyo Queen had approached him in search of companionship. According to Lege Miami, he assisted her in finding a potential partner, who she later rejected due to his work ethic.
Lege Miami further disclosed that he was still in the process of finding a suitable match for her when he got wind of her involvement with Portable. Confronting her about it, he initially received a denial.
Portable swiftly engaged in the comment section on Nedu’s Instagram page and rebuked Lege Miami for publicly disgracing his lover. Portable exposed the actor’s own actions by revealing chats between Lege Miami and the Queen, demonstrating that he had been seeking financial help from her.
